Our Story

Once Upon A Balloon Co. was born out of a moment we will never forget. In 2014, our family faced one of the most difficult seasons of our lives when our niece was born prematurely. Doctors gave us very little hope, and what followed were months filled with NICU visits, surgeries, and constant prayer. By the grace of God, she made it through.

In May of 2015, we celebrated her first birthday — a true miracle worth honoring in a big way. My sister and I had envisioned an extravagant balloon arch for the occasion, but after being turned away by several businesses, I decided to step in and create it myself. With a lot of research, patience, and heart, I built my very first balloon installation in celebration of my niece, Ahmarie Grace. Today, she is thriving, healthy, and full of life — a reminder that miracles still happen.

Now, we are proud to relaunch Once Upon A Balloon Co., serving the Louisville and Southern Indiana communities with the same heart, creativity, and intention that started it all.
